PURPOSE: A construction method of a tunnel which does not have a portal and a steel sheet structure used therefor are provided to construct a cost-efficient and environmentally-friendly structure for a tunnel. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a tunnel which does not have a portal is as follows. Multiple steel tubes are inserted along the cross section of a tunnel, and earth inside the steel tubes is removed. H-beams(20) are inserted into the inserted steel tubes, and the pointed ends of the H-beams are fixed. The steel tubes are extracted from the tunnel. Front steel sheet structures(40) are inserted between the grooves(21) of the adjacent H-beams. The inside space(50) formed by the front steel sheet structures is excavated. Rear steel sheet structures are connected to the rears of the front steel sheet structures.
