PURPOSE: A knob type valve is provided to reduce an installation and operation space with a simple structure and to prevent the inflow of odor and insects into indoor through a drain pipe of a sink. CONSTITUTION: A knob type valve comprises a knob(1), pipe couplers(2), a rotary valve plate(3), fixing valve plates. Multiple rotary protrusions(11) are formed on an inner wall of the knob at predetermined intervals. The pipe couplers are coupled inside the knob while being inserted in both sides of the knob. Each pipe coupler comprises a body, a pipe connection part, a valve plate part, and a knob groove. The rotary valve plate is mounted inside the knob to rotate with the knob. The fixing valve plates are mounted inside the body of the pipe couplers and respectively have fixed drain holes.
