摘要

PURPOSE: A low molecular weight chitosan oligo saccharides with colon cancer cell anti-proliferative activity is provided to have apoptosis and cell anti-proliferative effects of the colon cancer. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating colon cancer contains chitosan oligo saccharides having 1-10 kDa molecular weights as an active ingredient. The chitosan oligo saccharides is low molecular weight chitosan oligo saccharides having 1-3 kDa molecular weights. A health supplement for preventing or treating colon cancer contains the low molecular weight chitosan oligo saccharides having 1-3 kDa molecular weights.
