PURPOSE: A candidate suggesting method for determining a field type in database model design is provided to shorten a use time and automate a data type determination process through a data lot test in database model design. CONSTITUTION: Round confirmation is performed according to each data item, each row, and each column. A character type is confirmed according to each item. If the item is determined as the character type, the longest charter is confirmed. If the item is determined as a numerical type, the inclusion of decimal values is confirmed. If the item is determined as a integer type, a maximum value and a minimum value are confirmed. An integer data type without the waste of capacity is determined according to the maximum value and the minimum value.
