A set of planetary carriers (22) of the epicyclic gear is attached to the casing. A sun gear (24) of the epicyclic gear is attached to a rotor (30) of the electric machine. Elements including the wheel and the crown are dimensioned such that an algebraic sum of products of rotational inertia by speeds relative to the elements is zero or undervalued so as to reduce vibrations caused by a heat engine (14).
