Provided is a diagnostic apparatus. The diagnostic apparatus comprises: a microfluidic chip having a sensing portion constituted by five sensing regions in which respective antibodies for detecting H1N1, H3N2, H5N1, H7N3 and H9N2 subtypes of influenza type A virus are provided; a polymerase chain reaction unit for providing the sensing portion of the microfluidic chip with reactants for polymerase chain reaction for five subtypes contained in a biological sample; a light source unit for providing the reactants for polymerase chain reaction specifically bound to the antibodies of the sensing portion of the microfluidic chip with light to generate fluorescent energy; and a sensor unit for sensing the fluorescent energy emitted from the reactants for polymerase chain reaction specifically bound to the antibodies.
