PROCESS ENABLING COMPLETE COMBUSTION AND OXIDATION OF MINERAL FRACTION OF WASTE TREATED IN DIRECT INCINERATION-VITRIFICATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for treating waste by direct incineration-vitrification by enabling complete combustion and oxidation of mineral fraction of combustible waste included in an apparatus.

SOLUTION: The process includes: a step of introducing the waste 3 into the apparatus 2 and arranging the waste on the surface of a molten glass bath 1 in the apparatus; a step of carrying out combustion and oxidation treatment of the waste 3 on the surface of the glass bath 1; a step of heating the glass bath, combustion products and a vitrification auxiliary agent 5 arbitrarily added to the glass bath 1 until a pasty liquid is obtained during introduction of combustion products into the glass; and a step of removing the liquid from the apparatus and cooling it to obtain a confinement matrix.
