<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement an effective and appropriate unit type data center capable of reasonably performing facilities extension. <P>SOLUTION: A building 1 which is a prefabricated structure has a server room 2 and an electric room 3, a ventilation machine room 4, and an air-conditioning machine room 5, each of which is adjacent to the server room 2 inside the building 1. The building is made to be capable of being extended in the transverse direction. The air-conditioning machine room 5 is arranged on one side in the longitudinal direction in the building; and another side composed of two layers of an upper layer and lower layer parts includes the electric room 3 located on the lower layer part and the ventilation machine room 4 located on the upper layer part. The server room 2 is located between the air-conditioning machine room 5, and the electric room 3 and the ventilation machine room 4. Server rack units 7 in the server room are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the building and at intervals in the transverse direction, while a cold area CA and a hot area HA are provided around each of the server rack units 7. Cooling equipment 11 is composed of an exhaust fan 12 located in the ventilation machine room and an air-conditioner 13 located in the air-conditioning machine room. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
