<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving heat resistance possessed by vulcanized rubber more simply in the field of automobile tires. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided: a use of a composition, obtained by mixing a condensation reaction product of aniline and acetone with a dicarboxylic acid, for improving heat resistance possessed by vulcanized rubber; and a method for improving heat resistance possessed by vulcanized rubber including the following steps (1), (2) and (3). The step (1) is to bring a mixture containing 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline and a polymer thereof and, with respect to 100 pts.mass total thereof, 2-6 pts.mass of a primary amine, into contact with 3-10 moles of a dicarboxylic acid with respect to 1 mole of the primary amine. The step (2) is to knead the mixture obtained in the step (1) with a rubber component and a sulfur component. The step (3) is to vulcanize the kneaded product obtained in the step (2), thereby obtaining the vulcanized rubber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
