<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a relay device capable of suppressing reduction in contact reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The relay device 1 includes: a contact part 2 having a first contact 5 and a second contact 7; a drive part 14 which makes the first contact 5 come into contact with and separate from the second contact 7; and a contact container 37 in which the contact part 2 is housed.
