摘要 The present invention achieves a wireless IC device and a wireless communication terminal which are capable of achieving advantageous radiation characteristics in any of three directions from a substrate thereof. This wireless IC device is provided with a wireless IC element (50) for processing a high-frequency signal, a substrate (10) for mounting the wireless IC element (50), a planar conductor (20) formed upon a first surface of the substrate (10), and a first wiring electrode (21) and a second wiring electrode (22) such that a pair of input/output electrodes of the wireless IC element (50) is coupled to one end of each. The first wiring electrode (21) and the second wiring electrode (22) are formed upon a second surface parallel to the first surface of the substrate (10). The other ends of the first wiring electrode (21) and the second wiring electrode (22) are electrically connected to the planar conductor (20), and form a loop indicated by a dotted line when viewed from the X-axis direction, the Y-axis direction, or the Z-axis direction, which are orthogonal to one another with respect to the substrate (10).
