<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for heat-treating a toner for suppressing consumption of electric power and reducing an environmental load and to provide a method for producing a toner. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for heat-treating a toner includes: raw-material supply means configured to supply a raw-material toner to a toner treatment space; hot-air supply means configured to heat-treat the raw-material toner in the toner treatment space; and suction and ejection means configured to eject the hot air used for the heat treatment of the raw-material toner.
