<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector which suppresses deterioration of image quality due to the self-weight of a projection lens, an impact or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 1 includes an optical modulation device which modulates light flux emitted from a light source according to image information and a projection lens 5 which projects light modulated by the optical modulation device and also includes a holding part 6 which holds the projection lens 5, an external housing 2 for housing the projection lens 5 and the holding part 6, and a first holding part 27 and a second holding part 28 projecting from the inner surface of the external housing 2 and holding the projection lens 5 or the holding part 6 from a direction nearly orthogonal to an optical axis 5C of the projection lens 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
