<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable wireless device which reduces the number of components while maintaining operability and securing waterproofness, improves the assemblability, and reduces the cost. <P>SOLUTION: In a portable wireless device 33, a case 34 is constructed by a front cover 31 and a chassis 30. A wiring board 51 where a switch 53 is mounted is provided at the chassis, and a button 35, which is made of an elastic body and has a depression part 39 extending into the case, is water-tightly attached to an outer side surface of the front cover.
