The actuator (71) has a handle (41) for jointly actuating two locks, and power transmission units formed by Bowden cables (43) between the handle and each lock. Two indicators (51, 52) are associated with the respective power transmission units to indicate the respective locking status of the associated lock. The indicators actuate an overall indicator (61) with a logical OR function to visibly indicate the unlocked state of the locks. The indicators are rotatable along an axis and in connection with core of the Bowden cables. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a vehicle seat comprising a seat part (2) a fitting system for a vehicle seat comprising a control lever.
