<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast-coated paper produced by using a rewetting method, which has high blank sheet gloss and superior printability, and also has superior suitability for an ink jet printer using an ultraviolet curable ink or a solvent ink. <P>SOLUTION: The cast-coated paper has a cast-coated layer which contains an inorganic pigment and a binder as main components, formed on a substrate by using the rewetting method. The cast-coated layer further contains a surface active agent, and the surface active agent is at least one compound of an acetylene alcohol compound, an acetylene glycol compound and a polyether compound of an acetylene-based dialcohol. An applied amount of the cast-coated layer after drying is 8-30 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and the 60° glossiness of a surface measured according to a JIS Z8741:1997 "specular glossiness measuring method" is 50% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
