<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new enzyme easily producible of a peptide in high yield at a low cost without using any complicate synthetic process. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a new enzyme catalyzing a peptide synthesis reaction from a carboxy component and an amine component, a microorganism producing the enzyme, and a method for producing a peptide at a low cost by using the enzyme or the microorganism. The new enzyme for efficiently synthesizing the peptide is found out from a newly found bacterium belonging to the genus Taxeobacter, Psychrobacterium or Psychroserpens to find out the method for easily producing the peptide at a low cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
