MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SHEET-SHAPED PARTICLES FOR CATHODE ACTIVE MATERIAL OF LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing sheet-shaped particles for a cathode active material of a lithium secondary battery capable of further improving control of shape/structure and orientation of the particles.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of sheet-shaped particles for the cathode active material of the lithium secondary battery includes the following processes: (1) a slurry containing a raw material particle is formed in a sheet-shaped film on a predetermined substrate using a slit die coater; (2) the sheet-shaped slurry film formed by the film forming process on the substrate is dried; and (3) the dried sheet-shaped slurry film obtained through the drying process is peeled from the substrate.
