<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a figure having symmetric properties to be easily set as a selected region. <P>SOLUTION: Based on an input division number N, N pieces of division lines are drawn on an object image and the object image is divided into N pieces of divided regions, (e). Within a range of the divided regions, designation of a specified region B1 from a user is input, (f). A region having a cutout picture pattern shape formed by cutting a folded sheet to a shape of the specified region B1 and by subsequently spreading a sheet having the shape thereof is formed by developing the specified region B1 to specified regions B2 through B6, (g).
