<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective film having low hardness, scratch resistance due to self-repairing property, resistance to fingerprint visibility and antifouling properties and having excellent durability, and to provide a touch panel display including the protective film. <P>SOLUTION: The protective film is obtained by forming at least a soft resin layer on one surface of a transparent base material film. The soft resin layer comprises urethane (meth)acrylate, a fluorine-containing compound and/or a compound having a siloxane bond and has 1.44-1.48 refractive index.
