<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel having high display quality. <P>SOLUTION: A plasma display panel includes a back plate and a front plate bonded together. The back plate includes on the substrate: a plurality of almost striped address electrodes; a back plate dielectric layer covering the address electrode; and a lattice shape barrier wall that contains a main barrier wall almost parallel to the address electrode and an auxiliary barrier wall almost orthogonal to the main barrier wall. The front panel at least includes on the substrate an almost striped bus electrode and a front plate dielectric layer covering the bus electrode. The back plate and the front plate are bonded together by an adhesion layer at least extending over the full length of the uppermost part of the back plate main barrier wall, in which the adhesion area for the main barrier wall and the front panel per unit length of the main barrier wall in longer direction becomes the largest at the barrier wall intersection where the main barrier wall and the auxiliary barrier wall are crossing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
