<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contact and/or operation failures that can be caused by the presence of guide walls. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay includes: a movable contactor 2 which closes a circuit by short-circuiting between a pair of fixed contacts 10, 10 by coming into contact with the fixed contacts and opens the circuit by being separated from the fixed contacts; and a guide walls 5 which guide the movement of the movable contactor at the time of opening/closing.
