<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable change of screen configuration and the number of input items for each locale without making a mechanism for each application and eliminate the need for managing an object to change for each locale. <P>SOLUTION: A path conversion device of an embodiment includes path conversion means, path presence check means, and path transmission means. The path conversion means converts a part of paths receiving input into a conversion character string independently based on respective conversion rules in a path conversion rule, converts the paths receiving the input into a plurality of paths by substituting a variable number in the conversion character string in an obtained locale, and generates a path conversion candidate constituted of the plurality of paths. The path presence check means checks if the respective paths in the path conversion candidate are present in list information.
