<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the possibility that a network switch is a cause device in an L2 network, and display information on the cause device. <P>SOLUTION: A management system managing a plurality of information processing devices which are managed objects including a plurality of network devices and a computer: determines reachability of on-path network devices which are the network devices on a communication path between the system and the computer; and calculates, based on the reachability, conviction degree on the probability that a predetermined network device included in the on-path network devices is a cause of non-arrival of communication from the management system to the computer. After that, the management system displays: information showing the non-arrival of the communication from the management system to the computer; and the conviction degree as the probability that the predetermined network device is the cause of the non-arrival. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
