Provided is a voltage generating circuit provided with: a first bipolar transistor (Q2); a second bipolar transistor (Q1) of which the emitter is configured to have an electrical potential identical that of the emitter side of the (Q2) at a first electrical potential node side and of which the base is positioned at the collector side of the (Q2); a first resistor element (R2) of which one end is positioned at the collector side of the (Q2) and of which the other end is positioned at the base side of the (Q2); a second resistor element (R1) of which one end is positioned at the collector side of the (Q1) and of which the other end is connected to the other end of the (R2); a third resistor element (R3) provided between the base of the (Q2) and the first electrical potential node; an amplifier unit (A1) which outputs a voltage according to a difference in collector side voltage between the (Q1) and the (Q2); voltage current converter units (MP1, MP2) which convert the voltage outputted from the amplifier unit into an electrical current, supply this electrical current to the connection nodes of the (R1) and the (R2), and output the generated electrical current; and a voltage generating unit (R4) which outputs a voltage on the basis of the generated electrical current.
