The present invention relates to an intercooler and to a method for manufacturing same, wherein the intercooler uses a tube, having an ellipsoid cross-section, as a cooling tube, such that heat transfer can be accelerated beyond that of the circular tubing of related art, the flow of cooling air is rendered easy, and the durability of said tube is superior to that of a tube having a circular cross-section in terms of strength.
