PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote stabilization of a subject's respiratory movement.

SOLUTION: An X-ray computerized tomography apparatus includes: a gantry 100 which includes an X-ray tube for generating X-rays and an X-ray detector for detecting the X-rays transmitted through the subject; a tomogram generating unit 114 which generates tomogram data on the basis of output of the X-ray detector; a heart beat index calculation unit 1208 which instantaneously calculates a plurality of heart beat indices associated with a heart beat state on the basis of an electrocardiogram about the subject; a heart beat index selection unit 1205 which selects at least one heart beat index from among the plurality of calculated heart beat indices according to a user instruction; and a display unit 1201 which is held in a housing of the gantry in a direct manner or via an arm so as to instantaneously display the selected heart beat index.
