<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle charging apparatus and power receiving equipment that suppress a power peak during charging. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle charging apparatus includes: an AC/DC conversion section for converting from AC to DC power supplied from the power receiving equipment installed at a facility having one or more loads and the vehicle charging apparatus; a DC/DC conversion section for converting a current and voltage output from the AC/DC conversion section to a current value and voltage value included in a control signal; a communication section for receiving a signal including a value of power consumed by the loads and vehicle charging apparatus which is measured by the power receiving equipment; and a control section for, if the value of power consumed by the loads and vehicle charging apparatus exceeds a threshold, computing a current value for power supply to a vehicle reduced by power in excess of the threshold, notifying a control signal including the computed current value and a voltage value requested by the vehicle to the DC/DC conversion section, and controlling the current and voltage output from the DC/DC conversion section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
