<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the data rate of a reception signal while keeping a circuit size from becoming larger. <P>SOLUTION: A receiver receives a signal transmitting a payload including a data string, a bit sequence obtained by rotating a first spread code by a bit number corresponding to the data rate of the payload, and a second spread code. The receiver includes: a first correlation detection unit for obtaining correlation between the received signal and the first spread code as a first correlation signal; a second correlation detection unit for obtaining correlation between the received signal and the second spread code as a second correlation signal; a delay time measurement unit for obtaining time difference between an edge of the first correlation signal and an edge of the second correlation signal; a data rate determination unit for determining the data rate based on the time difference and for outputting a data rate determination signal indicating the determined data rate; and a demodulation unit for demodulating the received signal based on the data rate determination signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
