<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material which is composed of an olivine type lithium transition metal oxide and which has excellent charge and discharge characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The olivine type lithium transition metal oxide has a composition of Li<SB POS="POST">x</SB>(Mn<SB POS="POST">1-y</SB>M<SB POS="POST">y</SB>)PO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>(in formula, x and y satisfy inequalities 0.9<x<1.3 and 0≤y<1; and M is at least one metal element selected from a group composed of Fe, Co, and Ni) and is produced from raw material slurry including the fluxing agent of aluminum fluoride or zinc chloride. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
