<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit capable of narrowing a frame of a display device and accurately applying intended voltage to an auxiliary capacitance, and to provide the display device having the drive unit. <P>SOLUTION: The drive unit includes a regulated power supply part (regulators 711, 712) for supplying power supply voltage to a buffer part 21. By using voltage AVCH being equal to or above voltage VSCH, VSCL to be supplied to the buffer part 21, and voltage AVCL being equal to or below the voltage VSCH, VSCL, as the power supply voltage, the regulated power supply part generates the voltage VSCH, VSCL and supplies the same to the buffer part 21. Thus, the buffer part 21 can apply auxiliary capacitance driving voltage of an expected voltage value to an auxiliary capacitance line, without thickening wiring for supplying the power supply voltage to the buffer part 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
