<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized multicore optical fiber holder and a holder body part. <P>SOLUTION: A multicore optical fiber holder 10 includes a plurality of optical fibers 11 and a ferrule 21 which has insertion holes 23 to which the optical fibers 11 are inserted in a lengthwise direction, and holds the plurality of optical fibers 11 by the insertion holes 23. The ferrule 21 has a chamfered part 25 chamfered from the side of a center axis 21a of the ferrule 21 toward a peripheral surface 21d of the ferrule 21 in the lengthwise direction of the ferrule 21. The chamfered part 25 has guide surfaces 27 which communicate with the insertion holes 23 to guide the optical fibers 11 to the insertion holes 23 and are exposed in a lateral direction, namely, in a radial direction of the ferrule 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
