<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent delay of print operation by increasing the speed of image data processing. <P>SOLUTION: This printer connectable to a host computer includes a reception part, a storage part, a print part and a control part. The reception part receives print data from the host computer. The storage part stores print image data generated based on the print data. The print part executes printing to a print medium based on the print image data. When a command included in the print data commands printing of image data, the control part transfers the image data received after the command from the host computer in the reception part to the print part without passing through the storage part, and causes the print part to execute printing based on the image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
