An object of the present invention is to provide a nutritional composition having an effective preventive and/or beneficial effect on reduced muscle mass, decreased basal metabolism, hypothermia, obesity control, visceral fat accumulation control, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, and various other symptoms in elderly persons. A nutritional composition containing an n3 fatty acid and at least one type selected from the group consisting of free lysine, a dipeptide containing lysine, and a lysine salt, wherein the total amount of the at least one type selected from the group consisting of free lysine, a dipeptide containing lysine, and a lysine salt is 0.1 g to 10.0 g per 100 kcal of composition, and the total n3 fatty acid content is 0.17 g to 5.00 g per 100 kcal of composition.
