A modular dental implant (10) including a body portion (12), a sleeve (20), and an end cap (18). The sleeve (20) may be formed of porous material, such as a porous metal material to promote bone ingrowth. The sleeve is positionable around a core of the body portion (12) and the end cap (18) is attached to the core of the body portion such that the sleeve (20) is positioned between the head (14) of the body portion (12) and the end cap (18). The sleeve (20) includes one or more anti- rotation features formed in the upper surface and/or lower surface of the sleeve (20) configured to interact with one or more anti - rotation features formed in the lower surface of the head (14) of the body portion (12) and/or the upper surface of the end cap (18) which prevent rotation of the sleeve (20) relative to the core of the body portion (12). |
