The lamp (1) has an electronic ballast, and a burner (3) filled with sodium amalgam, mercury, and mixture of various metal halides and starting gas and sealed in a fixed frame with two power supply lines (9) connected to two electrodes. The upper housing portion (6) is connected to a holding device containing an electric connecting device to which the power supply lines are connected. The ballast is electrically connected to counterpart of connection device. A heat dissipation element is arranged between lamp housing and ballast to dissipate heat to insulating material of housing.
