<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which a unit cell falls into an abnormal state to cause its content to be discharged from the unit cell, occasionally causing exhaust efficiency of a battery module to be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A battery module in which a plurality of battery packs each having a battery chamber for storing a plurality of unit cells and an exhaust chamber for exhausting gas discharged from the unit cells are arranged so that the exhaust chambers face each other, comprises partition plates disposed between the plurality of exhaust chambers facing each other for partitioning the exhaust chambers. The partition plate has openings movable by hitting of the gas discharged from the unit cells at positions corresponding to the plurality of unit cells, thereby allowing exhaust efficiency of the battery module to be maintained even when the unit cells fall into a second abnormal mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
