<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method which properly protects the lens surface of a lens array and cuts it. <P>SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a lens, a lens array including plural lens parts 6 and a flange part 7, portion of a substrate part integrally formed with the plural lens parts 6, is separated into the separate lens parts 6, in which a fluid containing dissolved resin for protective layer is used to form a protective layer 50a covering the entire lens array, the substrate part of lens array with the protective layer 50a formed is cut with a dicing blade 40, and the protective layer 50a is removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
