摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device which can search for charging stations at which an electric vehicle can be charged in an appropriate charging time corresponding to a traveling mode of the electric vehicle and features of a facility equipped with the charging station. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device calculates a total charge amount V1 required for traveling to a destination and securing a residual charge amount n when arriving at the destination based on a battery charge amount a to be consumed while traveling to the destination, the residual charge amount n when arriving at the destination, and a battery charge amount p at a current location, and also calculates the number of charging times Cc when traveling to the destination by a guide route based on the total charge amount V1 and a charge amount converted from a charging time Tc at each charging station. The device searches a road map database for the last charging station from the destination within a virtual charging station distance LL calculated based on a distance L to the destination and the number of charging times Cc, and by taking the last charging station as a reference point, searches for the most distant charging station from the last charging station within the virtual charging station distance LL so as to set it as the next reference point, further, repeatedly searches for charging stations at least the number of charging times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
