<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an image forming apparatus in a small size and at a low cost while effectively suppressing accumulation of a liquid developer in a concave portion of a transfer roller. <P>SOLUTION: A transfer device comprises: a transfer roller 9 which has a concave portion 9e and transfers a liquid developer image to a transfer material; a transfer roller cleaning part 14 having a transfer roller cleaning roller 14c for removing residual toner remaining on the transfer roller 9 after transferring; a transfer roller cleaning roller positioning member 14g which allows a transfer roller cleaning roller 9c to advance into the concave portion 9e when the concave portion 9e is opposed to the transfer roller cleaning roller 9c and regulates the advancing amount of the transfer roller cleaning roller 9c into the concave portion 9e to the maximum advancing amount t1; and a rotation regulating member 14i of a cleaning part body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
