<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safe driving in a zone in which the maximum power is to be output. <P>SOLUTION: An induction heating apparatus comprises: a plurality of induction heating coils 11, 12, 13 arranged in adjacent to one another; capacitors 21, 22, 23 respectively connected with the induction heating coils in series; a plurality of reverse conversion devices 30, 35, 31 applying a high frequency voltage converted from a direct current voltage to each of series resonant circuits of the induction heating coils and the capacitors; and a control circuit 50 controlling the plurality of reverse conversion devices to have the same frequency and to synchronize the currents, and controlling a phase difference to be minimum between the high frequency voltage generated by a specific reverse conversion device that supplies the maximum power to the plurality of induction heating coils and resonant currents flowing in the series resonant circuits. In the control circuit 50, a direct-current power source voltage Vdc applied to the plurality of reverse conversion devices is set at a voltage at which an output voltage (Vinv) of the reverse conversion device exceeds a mutual induction voltage (Vm). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
