<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing the generation of dirt on a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device includes a photoreceptor 1, an intermediate transfer belt 6, a primary transfer roller 7 and a voltage applying portion 7a, a secondary transfer roller 8 and a voltage applying portion 8a, and a density sensor 18. When toner is forcibly discharged to the photoreceptor 1, the density sensor 18 measures toner density in an area contacting with the toner forcibly discharged by the photoreceptor 1, of the intermediate transfer belt 6, and the voltage applying portion 8a applies voltage on the secondary transfer roller to clean the secondary transfer roller 8 when the toner density measured by the density sensor 18 is equal to or greater than a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
