PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable generation of information representing a similarity between documents.

SOLUTION: A document comparison unit, based on document information on plural first documents, calculates similarities between the first documents. An arrangement position calculation unit calculates an interval which corresponds to the similarities between the first documents and which is an interval between coordinates where the first point and the last point are connected based on the plural similarities calculated by the document comparison unit.
