<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber holding member which allows optical transmission of high reliability and is free from the reduction of yield, a component for a photoelectric conversion module, and a method for manufacturing a component for a photoelectric conversion module. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fiber holding member 11 has an optical fiber insertion hole 13, to which a glass fiber is to be inserted, formed therein and includes a ferrule 12 having an electrode 14 provided at a front end 22a thereof on the front side in a glass fiber insertion direction. In the ferrule 12, an adhesive storage part 27 continuous to the optical fiber insertion hole 13 is formed along the optical fiber insertion hole 13 from an entrance for insertion of the glass fiber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
