<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray device for foreign matter detection that can easily adjust the detection sensitivity of X-rays without having to put a test piece into a pipe in which an object of checkup is flowing. <P>SOLUTION: An object of checkup flowing in a pipe is irradiated with X-rays, a wire for testing use extending in the flowing direction of the object of checkup is disposed outside the pipe in a detection area of detecting transmitted X-rays with a line sensor arranged in a direction orthogonal to the flowing direction of the object of checkup, and the wire is shifted while being kept in parallel with the line sensor in a direction normal to the flowing direction of the object of checkup. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
