<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer head drive device not requiring a transistor cooling heat radiation plate and capable of preventing distortion of a drive signal. <P>SOLUTION: A modulation circuit 24 modulates an analog drive waveform signal WCOM for controlling actuator drive outputted from a drive waveform signal generation circuit 70 to obtain a modulated signal. The modulated signal is power-amplified by a digital power amplifier 25. The power-amplified modulated signal is smoothed by a smoothing filter 26 to obtain a drive signal COM to the actuator. Since a MOSFET in the digital power amplifier 25 is used as a switching element, the power loss is small and no cooling heat radiation plate is required. Moreover, by arranging an inverse filter 23 having filter characteristic configured by electrostatic capacity of the smoothing filter 26 and an actuator 22 as predetermined frequency characteristic, the distortion of the drive signal COM applied to the actuator 22 is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
