This invention is applied to signal processing field, and it provides a sigma-delta modulator, which comprises: a second gain amplifier, a third gain amplifier, a digital to analog converter, and sequentially connected subtracter, a first adder, a first integrator, a second integrator, a first gain amplifier, a second adder, a quantizer; the positive input of the subtracter connects to the other input of the second adder, and output of the first integrator connects to another input of the second adder through the second gain amplifier, and the output of the quantizer connects to the inverting input of the subtracter through the digital to analog converter, and the output of the second integrator also connects to the other input of the first adder through the third gain amplifier. In the invention, integrators only process quantization noise, and enable a sigma-delta modulator to reduce distortion, and improve stability and dynamic range of the input signal.
