Disclosed is a protective sleeve for an instrument pipe connector, which comprises a sleeve, a left baffle and a right baffle, wherein a snap-fitting frame is provided on the left baffle with a snap-fitting hole provided on the top of the snap-fitting frame; a snap-fitting body is provided on the right baffle for snap-fitting with the snap-fitting hole; the snap-fitting frame on the left baffle passes through the sleeve and is snap-fitted with the snap-fitting body on the right baffle via the snap-fitting hole; and a through hole is provided in the centre of the left baffle and the right baffle respectively, with the diameter of the through hole being greater than that of the pipe and smaller than the diagonal length of a nut. The protective sleeve according to the present invention is not dismountable, so that it can effectively prevent a pipe from being connected without authorization, and a metering instrument from being dismantled or stolen.
