<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of securing longer operating time even at high environmental temperature. <P>SOLUTION: An optical disk device comprises: an optical pickup that has a plurality of actuators for moving an objective lens in individual predetermined directions with respect to an optical disk; a temperature sensor for detecting temperature of the optical pickup or ambient temperature thereof; an actuator driving circuit for driving each of the plurality of actuators; and a controlling circuit for controlling the actuator driving circuit. The controlling circuit includes: a processing section for calculating an upper limit value of current of a driving signal output to each of the plurality of actuators by the actuator driving circuit based on a difference between an operating upper limit temperature of the optical pickup and the temperature detected by the temperature sensor when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor does not reach the operating upper limit temperature of the optical pickup; and a drive control section for generating a control signal that is set such that the actuator driving circuit outputs the driving signal not exceeding the upper limit value. The processing section sets the upper limit value to 0 when calculated upper limit value is less than 0 and re-calculates one of other upper limit values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
