<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch for an electric power tool that can switch the rotation of a motor between normal rotation and reverse rotation and also can control the number of rotation of the motor by a single operating part, and therefore is excellent in operability and is easy to use. <P>SOLUTION: The switch for an electric power tool includes: a short circuit speed switching part 21 that has a sliding body 37 on the front surface thereof and a short circuit movable contact piece 36 on the back surface thereof and is movable upward and downward based on the operation of the operating part 31 that is rotatable for bipolar operation; a normal rotation switching part 22 that is mounted to one side surface of the short circuit speed switching part via a spring 33 so as to be movable upward and downward and has a normal rotation contact part on the back surface thereof; and a reverse rotation switching part 23 that is mounted to the other side surface of the short circuit speed switching part via a spring 34 so as to be movable upward and downward and has a reverse rotation contact part on the back surface thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
